      Application of Microwave Ice Cover Monitoring Device DX-WPS100-FB3 for Power Transmission Lines

      1, ice thickness monitoring: using microwave detection technology, based on the microwave signal and ice, water, air and other different substances interacting with the difference between the feedback signal characteristics, through the microwave sensor to monitor the transmission line ice-covered situation, and according to the signal strength and distribution information to calculate the thickness of ice. The measured thickness is 50.00mm and the detection resolution is 0.01mm.

      2、Meteorological parameter monitoring: the system can monitor the environmental temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, direction, rainfall and light radiation in real time, and automatically store and upload the data to the backstage to provide reference for the assessment of the risk and extent of ice-covering.

      3, early warning function: the system can be based on the thickness of icing and changing trends, issued in advance warning information to facilitate timely line operation and maintenance and de-icing work.
